NYSAN POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE (PAC)

What is the NYSAN PAC?

The NYSAN PAC was formed to enable clinical neuropsychologists to advance, promote and protect our professional interests and the patients we serve.  The NYSAN PAC is a vehicle to support candidates for public office and other political committees as permitted by the New York State Election Law. 

Why should I get involved?

State legislative and government activities continually impact the clinical neuropsychology profession. Actively supporting the PAC is one way that your voice can be heard and your vision implemented.  Complacency ensures that other groups and interests will exert control over the clinical neuropsychology profession.   We cannot afford to let this happen, especially now that our health care system is being reshaped. 

How do I get involved?

The PAC relies upon contributions from NSYAN members and other individuals who support the profession of clinical neuropsychology.  You can help by donating money to the PAC.  PAC donors will be acknowledged on NYSAN’s website and in its publications.
